Ask for Custom SupportEXM EXF Extended-Shank Carbon Steel Rod Ends are carbon steel rod-end joints used to connect adjustable rods, control arms, brackets, and actuator members while allowing angular movement at the connection. The design combines a threaded housing around a spherical plain bearing or race so the joint can transmit movement through a compact male- or female-thread interface. Select the bore, thread, race, misalignment, load direction, and operating environment for the complete assembly rather than choosing by nominal size alone.
Carbon-steel rod ends provide an adjustable articulated connection for control arms, tie rods, sway-bar links, and other force-transmitting members. Check radial load, angular travel, thread engagement, and race design before use.
The threaded male or female format can connect rods, brackets, hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders, and compact actuator mechanisms. Match thread direction, bore size, and mounting geometry to the complete linkage.
